I was originally aspired to become a food scientist after earning my Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai, India. Diving into the world of fruits and vegetables export was purely by accident, which today, I consider a very fortunate turning point of my life.

A successful career in experimental science requires an inquisitive mind having a desire to always ask the question ‘why?’ or ‘how?’. An excellence in service can only be achieved through dedication, hard work, creativity, patience, grateful acceptance of certain failures and overall, a passion to dwell into the unsolved mysteries of the world around us.

Having closely watched the extreme hard work of our farmers made me realize that along with our immense respect, they deserve fruitful and rewarding returns for the energy, honesty and dedication they invest in cultivating crops and feeding the nation. Dhanashree Harvest Byte is my small contribution to those that work in acres and not hours”.
